Buying a RAM Truck: New vs. Certified Pre-Owned

Ready to buy a new RAM truck? Have you considered purchasing a CPO RAM truck instead? We’re highlighting the perks of owning each at Prestige Chrysler Dodge Jeep® RAM.
What is a CPO Vehicle?
CPO is an acronym that stands for Certified Pre-Owned. These are pre-owned vehicles that have had at least one owner. However, these vehicles are hand-selected to ensure they are the best of the best of our pre-owned inventory. They are factory certified and include warranty coverage from the manufacturer, giving you the extra confidence you crave when buying a pre-owned vehicle.
Why Consider a Certified Pre-Owned RAM Truck?
There are so many perks to buying a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle. They are typically more affordable than a new vehicle, yet still give you the peace of mind you find when buying one. They are also late-model vehicles that usually have limited mileage.
A CPO RAM truck must meet the strictest of standards to qualify. Anything that doesn’t meet our standards is carefully reconditioned. They also include extra protection to protect you in the off chance an issue should pop up.
How Does a New Vehicle Differ?
The biggest difference of considering a new vehicle is the fact that they haven’t had a previous owner. A new vehicle has virtually no miles on it (typically a few from test drives). It will also have zero mechanical or cosmetic defects.
The warranty of a new vehicle is also different than that of a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle. Of course, a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle still includes warranty coverage (and the remainder of the new vehicle’s coverage transfers to a Certified Pre-Owned purchase too).
