It’s never too late to prepare for the season, so if you haven’t scheduled Jeep® service this spring, make sure you do so. Proper vehicle maintenance includes warm-weather services and repairs, especially after a long winter. Courtesy of Prestige Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM, here’s the essential Jeep service to schedule this spring.

Tires

Tire pressure fluctuates with temperature changes. Check pressure regularly, re-inflating or letting a bit of air out, depending on their needs. This will ensure better traction and handling, keeping you and your passengers safer while preserving fuel efficiency.

Air Conditioning

Your car’s air conditioning system must work well to keep you cool during the hot summer in Las Vegas. That’s why you should take the spring to get any maintenance done on your HVAC system, including the refrigerant, airflow, and filter changes. Counterintuitive as it may seem, this is also prime time to ensure your heater’s ready when temperatures drop again.

Oil Change

Your engine runs a bit cooler in the winter, but your motor oil still experiences wear and debris buildup as it does its job. If it’s been a while since your last oil change, it’s a good time to flush out your tank and put new oil in your car.

Brakes

A brake system inspection checks for worn-down parts or performance degradation. If necessary, we will replace or recondition the brake pads, rotors, and discs.

Fluid Top-Offs

Finally, you should look around your vehicle for any low fluid levels and top off anything that needs a refill. Drivers must check their brake fluid, transmission fluid, coolant, oil, and windshield wiper fluid levels.
